Don't come for the atmosphere, come for the tacos. They're worth it. These street tacos are amazing, and at a manageable size, you can try one of each and not feel ridiculously full (just a little full). Have not gone to the new location in Bishop Arts, but I've heard good things.

Really great trompo. I have not had the bistek by itself but when mixed with the trompo in a quesadilla it is delicious. Be warned though, restaurant has a sewage problem currently so I suggest take out rather than dine in because it is not a great smell.

Once again Yelp has helped me find a great new place to dine.
Found this one while looking at new businesses.
First tip: There's no big outdoor sign to help you find this place, so look shape and note the address before venturing out.
From the outside the most notable thing is the red door, the name "Trompo" is printed in a relatively small graphic on the door. Next is the parking; you can park at the tire shop next door or do what I do when I go; park across the street in the little lot.
The interior is pretty sparse. It's open and bright, but mostly empty. There's a stainless steel high-top table that seats about six to eight people. So dining in may not be an option at times.
They have a limited menu, tacos & quesadillas; pork, beef, and veggie. Yep, that's pretty much it. The drinks are from Mexico, so real sugar in the soda!! Yes! When the food is good, that's all you need.
Trust me; the food is excellent! The pork tacos are my favorite. The pork marinade is one of...
